• 4 large-sized Potatoes (cut into very slim strips)
• 3 fine chopped up Green Chillies (optional)
• 1 tablespoon Black Cumin Seeds
• 1/2 tablespoon Turmeric Powder
• 1 Dry Red Chilli
• 4 tbsp Oil
• Salt to taste
Heat oil in a flat cooking pan and add reddish chilli afterward breaking off it in 2 pieces.
When the chilly changes blackish red; add the cumin seed and allow it to splutter.
Now add turmeric powder, green chillis and white potato strips.
Fry until the white potatoes on high burn for 20 seconds and then on low burn until tender.
Add table salt to taste and stir the right way for 1 minute; put off the flame.
Serve red-hot with freshly cooked rice and dal.
