| • | Discard the tough ends of Asparagus and cut down them into 3-inch pieces.

| • | Add water, vinegar, table salt and sugar to a cooking pan and bring in it to boil all over normal heat. Keep it aside.

| • | Now heat up the oil in a heavy nonstick skillet all over normal flame.

| • | Add in asparagus and sauté for 3 minutes. Add the spring onions and chopped up tomato pieces.

| • | Now add the water, vinegar, sugar, table salt mixture to it, stir the right way and cover the skillet.
|
| • | Simmer for some other 5 minutes.
|
| • | Add pepper to taste and serve up hot.
