| • | Wash Chana dal the right way with water. Transfer it in a force cooker.

| • | Add 3-1/2 normal bowl water, salt, a pinch chilly powder and turmeric powder.

| • | After fourth whistle, take aside and do not release the pressure.

| • | Heat butter in a frying cooking pan and add chopped up onions and garlic. Fry until onions turn light brown.

| • | Add cumin and mashed tomatoes. Cook again until tomatoes are well done.

| • | Now add chilly powder, green chilly and turmeric. Mix well.
|
| • | Transfer this spices into cooker and add little water. Water should be boiled.
|
| • | Remove the cooker afterward one whistle and add Garam spices and coriander leaves.

| • | Chana dal is ready.
