Coconut Chutney Recipe • 1/2 Coconut
• Lemon sized tamarind
• 10 Red chillis
• Salt to taste
• 1 tablespoon urad dal
• 1 tablespoon table mustard seeds
• 2 tablespoon Oil
• 1 tablespoon Chana Dal
• Few reddish chilli pieces and curry leaves
• A pinch of hing
• 1/2 tablespoon Jeera
Shred the coconut into little pieces.
Fry the reddish chillis in a little pan.
Grind reddish chillies, coconut, tamarind and salt. Add minimal water.
Heat oil in a little pan. Add urad dal, chenna dal, table mustard seeds, jeera, reddish chillies, hing and curry leaves.
Add the seasoning to the coconut chutney afterward table mustard seed start spluttering.
Coconut Chutney is ready.
