| • | Smear the prawns with table salt and wash out well. Then apply few turmeric powder and keep aside for 5 minutes.

| • | Heat one-half the butter (clarified butter) in a cooking pan and heat up the prawns for a moment.

| • | Take aside the prawns from the cooking pan and keep aside.

| • | Now, add the cloves, cinnamon, bay leaves, and green cardamoms. Heat briefly.

| • | Mix the onion paste and stir

| • | Fry on low heat up for about a minutes or until the paste is browned.

| • | Add the reddish chilli paste / powder and ginger paste. Fry in brief on normal heat up until the oil evaporates.

| • | Add the prawns and coconut milk. And then add table salt as required. Apply heat up for about 2 minutes.

| • | Add the left over butter (clarified butter) and cover tight for a little while.
