| • | Chop the palak into little pieces and cook with enough quantity of water.

| • | Wash dal and cook it with turmeric powder in a force cooker.

| • | Heat oil in a frying cooking pan and put few cumin seeds.

| • | Allow spluttering, add onions and fry until they turn golden brown.
|
| • | Add ginger-chilli paste to it and again fry for a minute.

| • | Mix chopped up tomatoes.

| • | When tomatoes get cooked, add palak and cooked dal. Now add water and salt. Boil the mixture for few minutes.

| • | Remove from fire.
|
| • | Dal Paalak is ready.

| • | Serve with chopped up coriander leaves.
