• 1/4 cup Masoor dal
• 2 Bunches of spinach
• 2 Tomatoes
• 2 Onions
• 1-1/2 tablespoon Ginger-Chilli paste
• 1 tbsp Mustard Oil
• Salt to taste
Chop the palak into little pieces and cook with enough quantity of water.
Wash dal and cook it with turmeric powder in a force cooker.
Heat oil in a frying cooking pan and put few cumin seeds.
Allow spluttering, add onions and fry until they turn golden brown.
Add ginger-chilli paste to it and again fry for a minute.
Mix chopped up tomatoes.
When tomatoes get cooked, add palak and cooked dal. Now add water and salt. Boil the mixture for few minutes.
Remove from fire.
Dal Paalak is ready.
Serve with chopped up coriander leaves.
