| • | First wash out the figs below running water. Then cut down off the stems and the bottom of the figs.

| • | Heat water into a pot and bring in it to a boil.

| • | Pour the boiling water all over figs and leave only it for 10 minutes.

| • | Drain the water and chop the figs.
|
| • | Now mix a little pectin with about 1/4 cup of sugar.

| • | Take a pot and add 3/4 cup water, sugar, remain of the pectin and figs. Heat it to boil, stir on occasion until sugar dissolves.

| • | Cook rapidly until thick. Stir often to avoid sticking.
|
| • | Add citrus limon juice and the earlier-made pectin-sugar mixture into the fig mixture and cook 1 minute longer.

| • | Pour the mixture into Ball Jars. Allow it to cool and then put it in the refrigerator.
