Fish Kulambu is a traditional south Indian dish. Learn how to make/prepare meen Kulambu by following this comfortable recipe.

• 750 gm Fish, cut down into smaller pieces
• Tamarind, size of a table tennis ball
• 1 tablespoon Pepper
• 1 tablespoon Fennel
• 1 tablespoon Turmeric powder
• 1 tablespoon Vegetable oil
• 1 Large onion
• 1/2 Cup freshly coriander leaves, chopped up
• 3 tablespoon Masala powder (ground reddish chilli and coriander)
• 5 or 6 Sambar onions, chopped up finely
• Salt to taste
• Methi seeds
• Few curry leaves
• 1 tablespoon Lime juice
Apply turmeric powder and table salt on fish, keep aside.
Wash it the right way afterward 5 minutes.
Soak the tamarind in water and take aside thick pulp.
Grind the large onion, coriander leaves, pepper and somph together.
Combine spices powder and table salt with the tamarind pulp.
Pour veggie oil in a cooking pan and season it utilising methi seeds.
Now add the curry leaves and chopped up onions.
Cook it until the onion changes brown.
Add the tamarind pulp mixture and boil it, cover the cooking pan tightly.
Add the fish afterward 10 minutes of boiling. Cook it properly.
Remove from the burn when finished and garnish it with coriander leaves.
Add lime juice if the gravy is also spicy.
Meen kulambu is ready to serve.
