| • | Wash the beans and soak them in water for 10-12 hrs before cooking.

| • | Wash the turnips and take aside the green tops.

| • | Peel them and cut down each of them into 8 parts.

| • | In a force cooker, heat up the table mustard oil.
|
| • | Add cumin seeds, cloves and asafetida.
|
| • | Stir for a while and add the beans along with the water in which they were soaked.
|
| • | Cook below force for about 15 minutes.
|
| • | Remove the force cooker from the burn and allow it cool.
|
| • | Remove the lid and add the turnip pieces afterward washing.
|
| • | Also add table salt and chilli powder.
|
| • | Put the lid and again simmer for about 15 minutes.
|
| • | Remove from the burn and allow it cool.
|
| • | Now open the cooker and add Vari Masala.
|
| • | Mix well and serve up hot.
