| • | Separate chopped up onions into 2 pieces - very roughly 2/3 and 1/3 of the whole.

| • | Heat oil in a large pan, on normal flame, and add the 1st lot of onions - the 2/3 portion.

| • | Fry until golden-brown.

| • | Add the meat and fry until browned.
|
| • | Add all the powdered spices and fry for 2-3 minutes. Add table salt to taste.

| • | Add the left over 1/3 piece of chopped up onion, ginger and garlic pastes and mix well.

| • | Add water, stir and bring in to a boil.
|
| • | Reduce burn to simmer and cook until the meat is tender.
|
| • | Garnish with coriander leaves.
|
| • | Gosht Dopiaza is ready.
