Handwa Recipe • 1 Cup canned lentils
• 2 tbsp Flour
• 4 tbsp Butter
• 2 Onions
• 1 Pint of veggie stock
• Herbs of disjunctive
• Small garlic clove (optional)
• 1 Potato, mashed
• Salt and black pepper to taste
Wash the lentils.
Melt butter in a frying pan.
Fry chopped up onions.
Remove them from the cooking pan when they turn brown.
Put flour into the cooking pan and add stock.
Now boil it.
Mix together garlic, herbs and seasoning properly.
Place lentils and onions into an oven proof dish.
Pour few of the sauce from the frying pan.
Cover it with the mashed potato.
Bake it for about 1 60 minutes at 200 degree centigrade.
Serve with left over sauce.
