| • | Beat butter and cutting down with an electrical mixer on normal hurry until soft. Combine sugar with it and mix well.

| • | Add egg and milk and keep beating until blended properly.

| • | Take a normal bowl and mix flour baking powder, baking soda and table salt properly.

| • | Add this with butter mixture and beat at low hurry until well blended.
|
| • | Add citrus limon rind and juice.

| • | Fragment the dough into 4 equivalent pieces and enclose each piece in plastic wrap.

| • | Allow to cool for about 2 to 6 hours.
|
| • | Roll a dough piece on a lightly floured surface to a 1/4 inch thickness.

| • | Cut it with a 3 inch heart-shaped cookie cutter and keep on lightly lubricated baking sheets.

| • | Repeat the process for other dough parts.
|
| • | Now bake them at 350 degree Fahrenheit for about 8 to 9 minutes until light brownish colour reached on bottoms.

| • | Allow them to cool on baking sheets for about 2 minutes.
|
| • | Transfer to wire racks and allow them cool for 20 minutes.
|
| • | Put green food colour on 1/4 cup Icing and spread aside it on tops of cookies.
|
| • | Put orange food colour on reserved 1/4 cup Icing and put that into a zip-top plastic bag. Pierce 1 corner of the bag to make a little hole and pipe dots on cookies.

| • | Heart Shaped Cookies are ready to serve.
