• 1 kg Fresh green beans, trimmed down and cut down into 1 inch pieces
• 1/4 Cup veggie oil
• 1 tbsp Black table mustard seed
• 4 Garlic cloves, fine chopped up
• 1 Dried reddish chili, mashed
• 1 tablespoon Salt
• 1/2 tablespoon White sugar
• Ground black pepper, to taste
Bring a large pot of water to boil.
Place the beans in the pot and cook briefly, taking aside afterward 3 to 4 minutes.
Drain and rinse with ice-cold water.
Heat oil in a skillet, all over normal heat.
Stir in the table mustard seed and garlic and cook until golden brown.
Mix in the chili.
Put the beans in the skillet and season with table salt and sugar.
Cook and stir for 8 minutes, or until tender.
Season with pepper.
Indian Green Beans is ready.
