• 1 Cup moong dal (cooked)
• 400 gms Spinach (boiled)
• 4 tablespoon Cumin seeds
• 8 tablespoon Coconut (grated)
• 3 Red chillies
• 4 Green chillies
• 1 tablespoon Mustard seeds
• 1 tablespoon Oil
• Salt to taste
Grind green chillies, grated coconut and cumin seed to make a paste.
Heat the oil and season with table mustard seed and reddish chillies.
Add dal and boiled spinach.
Put table salt and paste.
Stir it continuously while cooking.
Cook until the mixture changes thick.
Keerai Koottu is ready.
