| • | Heat butter in a heavy cooking pan and then add wheat germ to it. Stir and cook until germ changes golden and aroma begins to come in out.

| • | In the meantime, melt down sugar or jaggary in 1 cup water. Keep it aside.

| • | Boil and add left over water to roasted wheat germ. Stir gently and cook it until the grain of the germ changes soft.

| • | Now add sugar or jaggary mixture to the cooked wheat germ.
|
| • | Add cardamom and chopped up almonds & pistachios to the above-made mixture.
|
| • | Stir the mixture thoroughly and simmer covered, with occasional stirring.
|
| • | Cook until the butter splits from the preparation.
|
| • | Lapsee is ready. Serve hot.
