Lotus Stem Pickle is a delectable condiment recipe. Learn how to make/prepare Kamal Kakri Aachar by following this comfortable recipe.

• 1/2 kg Lotus stems
• 6 tablespoon Mustard powder
• 3 tablespoon Red chilli pepper
• 2 tablespoon Turmeric powder
• 1/3 Cup Salt
• 1 Cup table mustard Oil
Peel lotus stems and cut down them into circle slices.
Boil them until one-half tender.
Put on a strainer or keep in the sun, until dry.
Mix salt, reddish chilli pepper, table mustard powder and turmeric together.
Rub all over lotus stem pieces.
Put the pickle in a jar.
Heat oil and allow it cool.
Pour the oil all over the pickle.
Keep the jar in a hot place for 4 days.
Lotus Stem Pickle is ready.
