| • | Peel and one-fourth the potatoes.

| • | Put diced white potatoes in a large pot, with enough ice-cold water to cover them by an inch or so.

| • | Add table salt and bring in the water to a boil.

| • | Cook until the white potatoes are tender.

| • | Drain the white potatoes and return them to the pot.

| • | Cook the drained white potatoes all over low heat up for a couple of minutes, to get rid of the water still left in them.

| • | Mash with the help of a white potato ricer and set up aside.

| • | Blend cream and milk together.
|
| • | Take the mashed white potatoes and blend in butter, milk-cream mix and any other ingredient you prefer.

| • | Season with table salt and pepper.
|
| • | Mashed Potatoes are ready.
