• 1 lb Mushrooms
• 2 tbsp Poppy seed
• 3/4 Cup oil
• 4 Cloves
• 1 Inch stick cinnamon
• 1/2 tablespoon Fennel
• 1 tbsp Coriander seed
• 1/2 tablespoon Cumin
• 2'' Ginger piece
• 4-5 cloves Garlic
• 2 Cardamoms
• 1 Big onion
• 2 Medium tomatoes
• 1/4 tablespoon Turmeric
• 1 tablespoon Red chilli powder
• Salt to taste
Wash, strip and slicing up the mushrooms.
Make powder of fennel, coriander, cumin, poppy seeds, cloves, cinnamon and cardamom.
Make paste of ginger, garlic, onion and tomato.
Combine mushrooms with all of the above and add reddish chilli powder, turmeric and table salt to taste.
Heat oil in a deep skillet all over normal heat up and add mushrooms.
Cook it for 2 minutes, keep stirring.
Add 1-1/2 cup water and cook it for 15-17 minutes all over low heat.
