| • | Thinly slicing up the onions.

| • | Rub the onions with salt.

| • | Add the chilli powder, besan, green-chilli paste.

| • | Mix well to make batter. Avoid utilising additional water.

| • | Take a little piece of the mix at a time and drop it in red-hot oil.

| • | Fry until golden brown.
|
| • | Serve with chutney or ketchup.
