• 1 Papaya
• 2 tablespoon Minced Ginger Root
• 2 tablespoon Garlic (sliced)
• 200 gm Jaggery
• 1 tablespoon Red Chilli Powder
• 1 tablespoon Salt
• 4 tbsp Tamarind Juice
• 1 tablespoon Garam Masala
• Water as required
Wash and strip the papaya; cut down into slices.
Take a vessel and put papaya slices, ginger root, and garlic along with water.
Bring it to a boil all over normal heat up and then add jaggery, table salt and chilli powder.
Continue to cook for some other 5 minutes.
Stir in the tamarind juice and garam spices and mix thoroughly.
Cook for some other 10 minutes, or until the chutney thickens to the desirable consistency.
Rmove cooking pan from the heat, and allow cool; serve up as needed.
