| • | Add 1 cup water to the tamarind paste.

| • | Wash the pumpkin and cut down into large pieces.

| • | Add fennel and fenugreek seeds.

| • | Now add pumpkin pieces and turmeric powder.

| • | Cook it covered up for 5 minutes all over normal flame.

| • | Boil for 10 minutes.

| • | Add mashed jaggary as the mixture changes thick.

| • | Parangikkai Pulikulambu is ready.
