Pepper Rasam Recipe • 1-1/2 tablespoon Peppercorns
• 1 Small tomato, cut down into little cubes
• 1 tablespoon Mustard seeds
• 1 tablespoon Cumin seeds
• 1 Sprig curry leaves
• 2 tablespoon Thick tamarind juice
• 1/2 tablespoon Sugar
• 1 tablespoon Chopped coriander leaves
• A pinch of hing
• Salt to taste
• 2 tablespoon Ghee
• 6 Cups of water
Grind the peppercorns to get a very soft powder.
Combine it with water, tomato, salt, tamarind juice and sugar.
Put it all over low heat up and bring in it to a boil.
Take a cooking pan and heat up butter in it, fry mustard, hing, curry leaves and cumin.
Add rasam to it.
Now garnish Pepper Rasam with chopped up coriander and serve up it.
