| • | Soak the moong dal for about 4 hrs in water taken in a bowl.

| • | Wash them and grind to make smooth paste along with the chillis and ginger.

| • | Add the chopped up onions, chopped up coriander leaves and table salt to the above cooked paste.

| • | Heat a flat griddle on high flame.
|
| • | Pour the batter on it and spread aside the batter on the cooking pan moving from center to the corners.

| • | Give it the shape of circle pancake.
|
| • | Sprinkle little oil on it is sides and cook it for 2-3 minutes.
|
| • | Turn all over and cook again.
|
| • | Serve it red-hot with coconut chutney.
