| • | Place the water and sugar in a deep saucepan and gently heat up it, stirring occasionally, until the sugar has dissolved.

| • | Place the stripped pears in water along with the citrus limon peel.

| • | When the sugar syrup is only below boiling point add the citrus limon strip and citrus limon juice, cinnamon stick and vanilla pod.

| • | Stir, add the stripped pears and lower the flame.
|
| • | Cook until the pears have softened.
|
| • | Once cooked, take aside the pears and leave only them to cool external of the syrup.
|
| • | Poached Pears are ready to be served.
