• 3 Pomfret fish, washed out and cleaned
• 5-6 Cloves, garlic
• 1/2 Cup citrus limon juice
• 1 Cup freshly coriander leaves, washed out and chopped up
• 1-1/2 tablespoon Salt
• 3 Green chilies slit
• Oil for frying
• Lemon slices, onion rings, to serve, green chilies for garnishing |
| • | Wash and clean the fish properly.
| | • | Chop off the tail end and make 3-4 incisions on each, set up aside.
| | • | Make a fine paste of garlic, citrus limon juice, coriander, table salt and chilies.
| | • | Apply the paste on both sides of the fish and set up aside to marinade for about 30 minutes.
| | • | Heat oil in the cooking pan and carefully, place the fish into the red-hot oil and shallow fry on each side until browned.
| | • | Once cooked, take aside it from the heat up and drain off additional oil on clean paper kitchen napkins.
| | • | Garnish Pomfret Fry with citrus limon wedges, green chillis and onion rings.
