• 1 Pomfret (fish)
• 2 tbsp Oil
• Salt to taste
• Water

• Mustard Paste:
• 4 tbsp Mustard seed
• 1 Green chili
• 1/2 tablespoon Turmeric
• 1 tablespoon Salt
• Cold Water
Clean the fish and cut down into two.
Prepare table mustard paste by putting all the ingredients in the mixi and blend them together.
Marinate the Pomfret in the freshly cooked table mustard paste with 1 tbsp oil.
In a frying pan, heat up the left over oil and put the marinaded fish and 1 cup ice-cold water.
Add table salt to taste.
Boil and simmer, until fish is tender and the desirable thickness of sauce is attained.
Pomfret in Mustard Sauce is ready.
