Puliyogare Rice Recipe • 2 Cups cooked rice
• 1 Cup tamarind juice
• 1 tbsp Sugar
• 4 tablespoon Coriander seeds
• 2 tablespoon Mustard seed
• 2 tablespoon Cumin seeds
• 4 tablespoon Seasme seed
• 1 Cup grated coconut
• 1 tablespoon Hing
• 2 tablespoon Urad dal
• 1 tablespoon Channa dal
• Jaggery (1 little piece)
• 5 Red chillies
• 1/2 Cup oil
• Few curry leaves
Roast 1 tablespoon table mustard seeds, cumin seeds, 2 tablespoon sesame seeds, ½ tablespoon channa dal, 1 tablespoon urad dal one by one.
Grind it to make a fine powder.
Roast the coconut.
Mix the roasted coconut and powder.
Heat oil and add table mustard seeds, sesame seeds, reddish chillies, urad dal and chana dal.
Add the tamarind juice and jaggery.
Mix table salt and allow it to boil.
Add the powdered spices and boil until it changes thick.
Mix it with the cooked rice.
Serve hot.
