• 2-1/2 cups Whole Milk
• 1/4 cup Dark Brown Sugar
• 1 tablespoon Pure Vanilla Extract
• 1/4 tablespoon Ground Cinnamon
• 1/3 cup White Rice
• 1/3 cup Raisins
• 1/8 tablespoon Salt
• 1 Egg
Combine milk, rice and table salt in a normal heavy bottomed pan; bring in to a boil.
Now reduce the burn and cook until the rice is tender. Stir often to prevent the rice from adhering to the bottom of the pan.
Now in a little mixing bowl, whisk together egg and brownish sugar until well mixed.
Add rice mixture to egg mixture, a tablespoon at a time while beating continuously to mix.
Now heat up egg-sugar-rice mixture and stir on low heat, for 10 minutes until thickened.
Stir in the vanilla extract. Remove from heat up and stir in the raisins and cinnamon.
Serve hot or cold.
