| • | Soak Soya pieces in 3 cups of red-hot water for 30 minutes.

| • | Wash and soak basmati rice in water for 30 minutes.

| • | Heat butter in a force cooker.

| • | Add cumin seed and ginger garlic paste. Sauté well.

| • | Then add the onions, green chilies and saute until onions are soft.
|
| • | Add chopped up tomatoes and stir until tomatoes are soft.
|
| • | Now, add turmeric, chili, coriander and garam spices powders.
|
| • | Stir well, until the spices is well sauted (4-5 minutes).

| • | Drain the soya pieces and rice and add to the masala.
|
| • | Stir and sauté, adding more butter if required.
|
| • | Add 4 cups of water and salt. Stir well.
|
| • | Cover the force cooker and cook until done.
|
| • | Garnish chopped up cilantro and mint.
|
| • | Serve red-hot with pickle and raita.
|
| • | Soya Biryani is ready.
