• 225 gm Hard tofu, cubed
• 1 Cup basmati rice, cooked
• 1 Onion, chopped up
• 2 Tomatoes, chopped up
• 1 tablespoon Garam spices powder
• Salt to taste
• 3 Garlic cloves, crushed
• 1" piece Ginger, crushed
• 2 Green chilies
• 4 Whole cloves
• 1" Cinnamon stick
• 1 Black peppercorn
• 1 Bay leaf
• 1 tablespoon Cumin seed
• 2 tbsp Ghee/butter |
| • | In frying pan, heat up ghee/butter.
| | • | Add cloves, cinnamon, bay leaf, black peppercorn and cumin seed and cook until done.
| | • | Add onion and saute until golden brown.
| | • | Add tomatoes and saute until butter comes out.
| | • | Add garam masala, salt, garlic, ginger and chilies. Fry for 2 minutes.
| | • | Add tofu blocks and fry for 2 min, stirring continuously.
| | • | Add cooked rice and mix well.
| | • | Tofu Rice is ready.
