• 225 gm Hard tofu, cubed
• 1 Cup basmati rice, cooked
• 1 Onion, chopped up
• 2 Tomatoes, chopped up
• 1 tablespoon Garam spices powder
• Salt to taste
• 3 Garlic cloves, crushed
• 1" piece Ginger, crushed
• 2 Green chilies
• 4 Whole cloves
• 1" Cinnamon stick
• 1 Black peppercorn
• 1 Bay leaf
• 1 tablespoon Cumin seed
• 2 tbsp Ghee/butter
In frying pan, heat up ghee/butter.
Add cloves, cinnamon, bay leaf, black peppercorn and cumin seed and cook until done.
Add onion and saute until golden brown.
Add tomatoes and saute until butter comes out.
Add garam masala, salt, garlic, ginger and chilies. Fry for 2 minutes.
Add tofu blocks and fry for 2 min, stirring continuously.
Add cooked rice and mix well.
Tofu Rice is ready.
