• 6 Cups cubed, cooked turkey
• 10 tbsp Flour
• 4 tablespoon Instant chicken bouillon
• Two 13 oz Cans vaporised milk
• 6 Cups cooked brownish or longish grain white rice
• Two 4 oz Can mushroom pieces, drained
• Two 2 oz Jars chopped up pimientos, drained
• Two 8 oz Cans water chestnuts, chopped up
• 1/2 Cup butter, melted down
• 2 Cup red-hot water
• 1 Cup ripe olives, chopped up
• 1 Cup almonds, chopped up
• Salt to taste |
| • | Take a cooking pan and melt down butter, stir in flour.
| | • | Dissolve bouillon in red-hot water, slowly mix it with the butter mixture and stir in vaporised milk.
| | • | Add salt, rice, turkey, mushrooms, pimientos, water chestnuts and olives, mix well.
| | • | Now pour the mixture into 2 buttered 9xl3-inch baking pans.
| | • | Sprinkle top with the chopped up almonds.
| | • | Bake at 350 degree F for one 60 minutes until bubbly.
