| • | Preheat oven to 350 degree F.

| • | Grease and flour the 2 9x13 inches pans.

| • | Mix the flour, baking powder and baking soda, keep aside.

| • | Take a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

| • | Beat in the egg one at a time and then stir in vanilla.
|
| • | Beat in the flour mixture alternately with the buttermilk, mixing only until incorporated. Now pour the batter into cooked pans.

| • | Bake in the preheated oven for about 35 to 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes aside clean.

| • | Cool the yellowish cake.
